Evaporation

We learned a new science word! Last week Mr. Markley introduced the word “evaporation” on the video announcements. In our class, we learned that evaporation is when water disappears into the air. It is still there, but it’s invisible!

Before we left for special class that morning, we started our very own science experiment. We sprinkled water droplets on all the tables and made a prediction that the droplets would be gone when we got back. When we returned, most of the droplets were gone! We attributed it to evaporation!
