Silly Sally

We have been reading Audrey Wood’s Silly Sally. We made predictions and also learned what an inference was!

We also worked on Silly Sally work pages. Students were to color a page and then try and label things on Silly Sally. Students were told to label the colors they colored her. As a challenge, they were told to label different parts of her body. (Example: hair, feet, shoes, hands, bow, etc.) They were told to do this for each character. Some students were pulled in small groups and learned how to “sound stretch”. We worked on stretching all the sounds out in a word and putting them down on the paper. These books should be going home soon!
